Especially, my research is focused on future education, the opportunities for playfulness and alternative educational formats as well as the playful potentials of new technologies. Current projects include value-sensitive design in higher education (VASE), design of playful online learning environments in adulthood and creative use of digital media in adult and further education (Play&Learn DigiMedia), and opportunities of gamedesign, gamejams and making for secondary and higher education (IGNITE).
